Server/bartender

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and ensuring timely delivery of beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures at all times.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience in cashiering is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to handle food safely is essential.
- Excellent math skills for accurate cash management and drink preparation measurements.
- Exceptional time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during peak hours.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances the guest experience.
- A background in hospitality is beneficial for creating a welcoming environment for patrons.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
