**Salary**: Negotiable + $15,000 signing bonus

At Actum, our Psychologists provide programming customized to the mental health needs of each client to promote function, active coping and internal resilience.

As part of our interdisciplinary team of professionals, our Psychologists go beyond knowing the injury or trauma itself - they get to know each client to create an individualized treatment program for their mind, body, emotions, and spirit working collaboratively with other Actum team members to address client treatment needs.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Providing psychological treatment for the more complex psychological conditions (anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, concurrent disorders) and psychosocial needs
- Working autonomously, providing 1-1 psychological services, and working within interdisciplinary teams
- Developing new mental health program content for the unique needs of various client groups
- Consulting with other mental health service team members and clinical interdisciplinary teams
- Providing various evidence-based treatments such as cognitive-behavioral or other evidence-based treatment approaches
- Utilizing e-charting software, produces and maintains confidential client clinical records in accordance with established standards and procedures; writes timely and accurate reports and case notes when required
- Work closely with the Actum Leadership team & other Centre of Clinical Excellence practitioners to meet identified client needs and achieve excellent client outcomes

**WHAT YOU HAVE**:

- Hold a masters, doctoral or equivalent graduate degree in Psychology from an institution approved by the BC Board of Examiners in Psychology
- Be currently registered and in good standing with the College of Psychologists of BC
- Membership in the Association of Psychologists of BC (BCPA) is encouraged
- Comprehensive knowledge of assessment and diagnosis of mental illness and of professional practice guidelines for the treatment of various disorders
- Knowledge of treatment, assessment and management of anxiety disorders, post traumatic stress disorder and psychological trauma
- A willing & passionate team player who thrives in an interdisciplinary work setting
- Clients would describe you as warm, empathetic, respectful and someone who takes the time to learn each individual’s unique story
- Interested in both personal growth & growth of the organization
- Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment
- Training and experience with CBT, TF-CBT, ACT, DBT, exposure therapy to treat PTSD, EMDR, & motivational therapies is beneficial

**Salary**: From $90,000.00 per year
