Wood CNC operators are responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to cut, shape, and carve wooden parts and components. As a wood CNC operator, your job duties may include:

- Programming CNC machines using software and computer-aided design (CAD) programs
- Loading and unloading wooden materials and components onto the machine bed
- Setting up and adjusting machine parameters, such as speed, feed rate, and tool position
- Monitoring the machine operation and inspecting the finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine and tooling
- Troubleshooting machine errors and malfunctions, and making adjustments as needed
- Collaborating with other team members, such as designers and engineers, to develop and refine designs and machining processes
- Following safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries

To be successful as a wood CNC operator, you should have:

- Experience in operating CNC machines, preferably in a woodworking or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of CNC programming and CAD software
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Understanding of safety procedures and best practices in operating and maintaining CNC machines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
