**LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST**:
**Job Type**:Full Time**Department/Division Description**
- The Learning and Development Specialist will work closely with the Learning and Development Director and Manager to execute basic training and data updates to the LMS system. They will assist in the creation of new courses with the content provided by the manager. This role is designed to assist with some the manual updates that will need to be done in order to maintain the LMS system as an accurate central source for training. As Learning and Development Specialist you will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
**Responsibilities**:
- Facilitate basic and intermediate training sessions using a variety of delivery methodologies (in class, virtual classroom...) including the monitoring of new hires LMS courses and percentage complete.
- Offer trouble shooting sessions for remote new hires in various roles across the company for basic common programs.
- Deliver on the job training and provide assistance in updating the LMS courses when updates are provided by PM’s, L&D Manager, Director or Reservations Managers.
- Participate in training needs analyses in partnership with Learning and Development Management team and relevant stakeholders to identify gaps, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Support the development of cost-effective training solutions for employees that meet established standards and objectives.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids, and manuals.
- Deliver and administer training assessments and post-training assessments.
- Provide reports to managers when requested.
- Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development.
- Approachable, welcoming and open to be a resource to new hires.
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Proven experience in working with Goway systems (Salesforce, Amadeus, TravelBox) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and various content editing tools.
- Extensive knowledge of Goway, systems and procedures
- Attention to detail
- Superior customer service skills (internal).
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Sound decision making and organizational skills.
