IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Head of Biomedical Engineering and Information Technology
START OF EMPLOYMENT: As soon as possible

DUTIES:
Under the authority of the Head of Department of Biomedical Engineering and Information Technology, the Department carries out the installation, troubleshooting, calibration, construction and modification of electronic telecommunications equipment. The person is called upon to work on telephony equipment (landline, specialized line and cellular), radio systems, satellite internet systems and security cameras. She also participates in the development and implementation of optimization and preventive maintenance programs for telecommunications equipment. The person will be called upon to carry out work in northern communities. Must be available for emergency care on rotation evening, night and weekends.

**Qualifications**
Hold a college diploma (DEC) in electronics technology with a specialization in telecommunications or in another appropriate college discipline from a school recognized by the appropriate ministry or a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) combined with a relevant undergraduate university certificate or an Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) of 800 hours or more combined with experience relevant to the field concerned;
A university education is a major asset;
Relevant three (3) years of experience in installation/repair and preventive maintenance of electronics equipment;
Holding a valid BSP (Bureau de la sécurité privée) licence in electronic security systems is required for security camera systems;

Inventory management capacity and experience;
English/French bilingualism spoken and written;
Sense of organization and autonomy;
Travel to points of service as needed;Valid driver's license

SALARY: Min.: 938.14$ Max.: 1252.40$ / 38.75 hours
ISOLATION PREMIUM: $203.66 / week
RETENTION PREMIUM: $114.99 / week
HIGH COST OF LIVING PREMIUM: $61.16 / week

Any person recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she is called upon to perform her duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per status (shared lodging if necessary).
