**Key Responsibilities**:
**Instruction and Curriculum Delivery**:
- Develop and implement engaging and comprehensive lesson plans that align with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
**Student Assessment and Support**:
- Assess student performance through examinations, practical evaluations, and assignments.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their educational and professional goals.
- Mentor and guide students in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
- Tracking student attendance.
**Curriculum Development**:
- Collaborate with faculty and administration to continuously improve and update the esthetics curriculum.
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and products to ensure course content remains relevant and cutting-edge.
**Administrative Duties**:
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and school events.
- Inventory of supplies needed for effective instruction.
**Professional Engagement**:
- Engage with industry professionals and organizations to enhance program quality and student opportunities.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement, collaboration, and growth.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Must have an Esthetics license for a minimum of 2 years.
- Current licensure in esthetics
- Apprenticeship Manitoba: Approval from Apprenticeship Manitoba, Trade License,
- Teaching for Learning in Applied Education/and or Instructor Development Training Certificate
**Experience**:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the esthetics industry.
- Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
**Skills**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms is a plus.
