**Position Summary**

Reporting to the VP Quality and Safety, the Flight Ops Quality Assurance (FOQA) Auditor will ensure that assigned FOQA audits are completed unbiasedly and within their respective due dates, as outlined in the applicable schedule. The FOQA Auditor will also work to complete assigned SMS report verification and validations in an objective, professional and timely manner in accordance with the Safety Management System (SMS) Manual.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- Conduct and document assigned audits of company manuals/procedures as required
- Conduct and document assigned SMS verifications and validations, primarily within the Flight Operations department
- Demonstrate a cooperative attitude and friendly working relationship with other company departments
- Chair program-related meetings and safety committee level meetings as required
- Work with the Quality and Safety Department to create and amend programs, policies and procedures as required
- Work with the Quality and Safety Department to develop and continually improve program-associated training
- Understand current legislation, codes of practice, bulletins and other safe work practices and recommendations
- Actively participate in the Company’s Safety Management System
- Perform additional duties as assigned

**Minimum Education, Experience and Certifications**
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
- Completion of a Private Pilot’s Licence
- Successful completion of a Commercial Pilot Ground School, achieved through participation in a recognized commercial pilot ground school program, or enrollment in our in-house commercial pilot ground school program
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations
- Previous experience with a Safety Management Software System considered an asset
- Previous experience with an Aviation Management Software System considered an asset (WinAir/AvAIO/VMO preferred)
- Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset

**Working Conditions**
- Physically able to perform all listed job duties
- Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role
- Work performed primarily in an office environment
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and telephone
- Work performed both indoors and outdoors; employee must be able to adapt to all outdoor weather conditions
