**Position Overview**

Serving staff are responsible for providing guests with an exceptional dining experience. The Server will greet guests upon arrival and ensure they are taken care of by answering questions about the menu, taking and communicating orders to the culinary team, and assisting with cleaning duties in the restaurant.

Along with a year-round hotel, pub, and dining room, The Lodge at Arrow Lakes is also host to the CMH Kootenay Heli-Skiing operation during winter months. To learn more about The Lodge at Arrow Lakes, please visit the website: The Lodge at Arrow Lakes

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Greet Guests upon arrival.
- Provide a professional, highly organized, and detailed dining experience.
- Providing suggestions for food or drink choices to diners.
- Taking feedback and suggestions from diners.
- Cleaning tables and preparing spaces for future diners.
- Carrying drinks and food from the kitchen or bar area to the tables.
- Memorize menus and daily features.
- Deliver bills and collect payment.
- Cooperate and communicate with lodge staff.
- Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines.
- Perform end of shift cash out/close.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Previous serving experience in a fast-paced environment, preferred.
- Must hold a valid Serving it Right certificate
