**Early Childcare Educator - (Alexandria)**

We are immediately hiring for a Before and After School educator at our St. Finnan's location in Alexandria.

**Who Are We? **We are a multi-location childcare centre located in Alexandria, St. Andrew's, and Cornwall, ON. We are a small team of dedicated and passionate professionals whose primary goal is to provide accessible, fun and educational childcare. We are looking for an Early Childhood Educator to join our team and help us fulfill our mission to provide the best possible care for our children and their parents

**Who are You?** You are passionate about providing accessible, safe, fun and educational childcare to children ages 12 months to 12 years. We are looking to add to our team of qualified educators at our Cornwall and Alexandria locations for supply positions, with a possibility of extending to part-time or full-time if a good fit. **Job Expectation**:The educator will report to their Team Lead and aid in the planning and programming of age-appropriate activities that follow the guidelines from the Ministry of Education, EOHU and Young Achievers Daycare.

**Hours**: Monday-Friday, 6:30AM-9:30AM, 3:30PM-6:00PM

**Salary**: $19.50-23.86 (based on qualifying education)

**Qualifications**:

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 32kg.
- Previous experience in childcare required.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
- Must be comfortable working with children and interacting with parents.
- Available to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (flexible hours/dependent on shift).
- CPR Level C & First Aid (current, or schedule to be renewed.)
- Vulnerable Sector Check (completed within the last 6 months).
- Immunizations up to date (MMR, Tdap (td booster vaccine), Varicella, Hepatitis B, TB skin test.

We are a team, and work to support one another, so there are times where we may be asked to be flexible and travel to another location to help provide extra hands

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual

Pay: $19.50-$23.86 per hour

Expected hours: 27.5 per week
