**Position Summary**:
The RPN Unit Manager is responsible for supervising the nursing care of a 28 bed LTC home area.

They provide nursing care to residents and supervises relevant staff within his/her home area during the assigned shift. All work shall be done in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of the Home, Resident Bill of Rights, applicable legislation and regulations, corporate policies and procedures and collective agreements.

**Schedule**:Nine 0700-1500 shifts bi-weekly, as follows (2 week rotation)

Week 1: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri

Week 2: Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun

**Qualifications**:

- **Valid Registered Practical Nurse registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario. Must provide proof of registration annually. (required)**
- Long Term Care and supervisory experience are assets
- Demonstrated proficiency in operation and use of a computer, related technologies and software required for the role(s)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to address conflict positively

Shalom Manor & Shalom Gardens is non-profit organization focused on providing a continuum of excellent holistic care for our aging Reformed Christian Dutch-Canadian community through long term care and retirement living. We are located in Grimsby Ontario.

**Salary**: $27.82-$31.08 per hour (25.82-29.08 +$2 per hour bonus)

**Education**:

- RPN Diploma (required)

Licence/Certification:

- LPN/RPN (required)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
