**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Safely operate (1) 5 layer extrusion system for duration of shift.
- Maintain high quality level through inspections and check of size, gauge, serrations, and tension continuously throughout shift.
- Thread and begin operation of equipment on beginning shift and proper shutdown and clean up during final shift.
- Assure proper resin mixes and reload silos as required.
- Roll handling of semi
- finished and finished goods with safe height manual stacking and forklift use.
- Follow production schedule and adjust slitters and bubble as required to reduce trimming.
- Oversee and operate internal recycling system to utilize all clean scraps.
- Completion of all required paperwork.
- Maintain a clean and tidy 5S workspace.

**The successful Extruder Operator will**:

- 2+ years’ experience operating blown film extruders.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and co-operate with peers and supervisor.
- Capability of lifting 60 lb loads.
- 2+ years forklift experience.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.

Extrusion Operators must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts. You will be required to work 4 shifts in a row, Thursday, Friday, Saturday &, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday on days and nights.
