**Acuren is currently recruiting for Operations Supervisor for to support our Ontario Operations.** Reporting to the Division Manager, the position coordinates service delivery and resource requirements; responds to changing priorities and scope changes, planning resources accordingly; reviews and approves requests for time off, routine expense submissions, and DTR’s. The role is responsible to manage and optimize employee scheduling and resource utilization, to review and understand monthly financial reports and make recommendations for improvement across the business. The position fully understands customer requirements as a result of regular communications, and prioritizes their questions and concerns, while also ascertaining upcoming needs and/or new business opportunities.
**Position Information**
- Responsible to plan, deliver and promote services that meet client needs in a manner that complies with safety, quality and financial goals
- Provide strategic solutions to clients that enhance Acuren’s position as a trusted business partner and reduce their costs to operate
- Ensure Service Excellence & Perform Business Development
- Provides leadership and organizes work and work assignments within the department and site, integrating various resources (equipment, consumable, and human) to carry out these activities
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues with staff and customers, and contributes to achieving regional goals
**Position Requirements**
- Post-secondary diploma in a relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of operational experience in a technical/industrial environment, 3 years of which is supervisory
- NDT or other technical Certifications are preferred, as is knowledge specific to the technical field of assignment
- Strong managerial skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills to manage difficult customer interactions
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Consistently demonstrates their understanding of, and compliance with, responsibilities under the provincial Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations, and Acuren Safety and Quality Management Systems, policies and procedures.
