**Purchaser /Planner**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage activities related to the purchase of material, material control, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and stock room.
- Manage all purchase requisitions once received
- Interface with technical and management personnel regarding possible changes in material, quantity, quality, or delivery schedules that may result in cost savings.
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure a continuous flow of material without delays
- Verify data accuracy (parts numbers, BOMs, Part Costs) in ERP report problems to document control.
- Enter and update purchase lead times
- Request and analyze quotes to ensure reasonable prices and that items meet company design and specifications.
- Performs price analysis as needed.
- Generate accurate and timely purchase orders to meet demand.
- Release work orders to production for new customers’ orders, forecast or engineering demand
- Plan and schedule workflow for operations
- Coordinate material flow in production for released projects
- Provide recommendations to administration and supervisors on forecast orders
- Support RMA’s with customers and coordinate with production

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of Purchasing/Planning experience in a high-technology manufacturing environment (Electronics Industry)
- Purchasing experience in the following products: Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), and Electronic components
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures
- Perform procurement planning with an MRP/ERP system
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work with and interact with various functional groups within/outside of the organization
