IT Technician

**Job description**

**Highway King Transport Ltd.**, an asset-based transportation company, currently has a full-time position as an IT technician. Highway King Transport Ltd. is growing and is in search ofa systems expert who can customize different software/data reporting. **Systems Specialist/Developer**

**Job Duties**:

- Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to co-ordinate access and use of computer networks.
- Providing problem-solving services to network users.
- Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading Web-server hardware and software.
- Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls; conduct monthly service tests on the software and network to ensure proper quality and security standards are met.
- Implement network traffic and security monitoring software and optimize server performance.
- Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records, data backups and disaster recovery operations; conduct tests and perform security and quality controls.
- Fixing company computers / printers as needed
- Generate & implement customized reporting and KPI management platforms.
- Other duties as needed.

**Requirements**:
Must have experience with **Truck Mate/ Trimble**

MUST have knowledge of Cloud based

**Experience**:

- Technical Support Occupations: 2-3 years (preferred)

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
