**Job Summary**
BBKS is starting its full year of Gurmat and Punjabi language school for children ages 5-18 with four levels of Punjabi. The school will be held Saturdays 10 AM - 2PM in alignment with the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board calendar.
We need volunteers who can help teach various groups to make this program successful.
Please fill out the following required information if you would like to volunteer at the school.

Would you commit 4 hours every Saturday from 10AM to 2PM to assist in teaching at the school? 90% attendance throughout the school year is required. (September through end of June). You would be required to attend all workshops and help conduct parent-teacher meetings.

This position requires fluency in Punjabi speaking, reading, and writing. Please indicate your Punjabi experience:
Do you have any experience working with the children with exceptionalities?
You are committing to a volunteer position without any pay expectations. You are expected to report any planned absences, sick days, late arrivals or time off during this term, not to exceed 5 days in total.
You are expected to have highest moral conduct in interacting with children and peers that fosters creativity, learning and love for the language and the panth. You are expected to speak only in Punjabi in the school premises.
You are expected not to interact with your own children during the school time unless it is urgent, and treat them like you would treat all other children in the school.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week
