Tâches du titulaire

Dans le cadre d’un mandat national, l’équipe Financement Corporatif offre des services de financement à effet de levier et de services bancaires d’investissement aux moyennes entreprises et aux entreprises clientes dans un ensemble diversifié d’industries canadiennes. Ce poste sera situé au bureau du centre-ville de Montréal, où il/elle aidera principalement à couvrir un portefeuille de clients, à évaluer de nouvelles occasions au Québec et dans le Canada atlantique, ainsi que des mandats de conseil en fusions et acquisitions.

L’équipe Financement Corporatif de la Banque CIBC offre des solutions de financement à effet de levier spécialisées, comme le financement par acquisition, le financement mezzanine et d’autres financements structurés axés sur les transactions avec les sociétés de capital-investissement. L’équipe a un mandat à trois volets : i) assurer une couverture nationale des sociétés de capital-investissement; ii) conclure des transactions hautement structurées, souvent aux côtés des Directeurs de comptes, services bancaires aux grandes entreprises CIBC; iii) offrir des solutions de dette mezzanine à nos clients à l’échelle nationale.

Le groupe Banque d’investissement, Marché intermédiaire se concentre sur les besoins spécifiques de conseil en fusions et acquisitions de sociétés privées pour les cessions, les acquisitions, les rachats de gestion, la levée de fonds propres et la sécurisation du financement par emprunt. Avec des bureaux à Montréal, à Toronto, à Edmonton, à Calgary et à Vancouver, Le groupe Banque d’investissement, Marché intermédiaire est l’un des principaux conseillers en fusions et acquisitions et se classe parmi les firmes les plus actives au Canada au cours des 20 dernières années, selon le volume total de transactions de fusions et acquisitions pour les transactions d’une valeur d’entreprise jusqu’à 150 millions de dollars.

En tant qu’Analyste au sein de l’équipe Financement Corporatif, vous collaborerez avec d’autres membres de l’équipe pour préparer et aider à la présentation de propositions de financement à des clients éventuels et à la souscription de nouvelles transactions de crédit. Aider à la documentation appropriée pour les propositions de crédit, les négociations et la clôture, et aider à la gestion de portefeuille du portefeuille de prêts existants, en plus d’aider analystes, associés et banquiers séniors dans l’exécution de mandats de conseil en fusion et acquisition. Cela comprendra la recherche sur les industries, les acheteurs potentiels et les valorisations; le travail approfondi sur des modèles financiers d’acquisitions et de recapitalisations; aider à la préparation de nombreux documents écrits, y compris des propositions de développement commercial et des mémorandums d’information confidentielles. Les Analystes Stagiaires seront très exposés aux Directeurs seniors expérimentés et auront accès à du mentorat individuel de la part de leurs collègues pendant leur stage de quatre mois.

Comment réussir- Vous accordez la priorité aux clients - Évaluer de façon proactive les besoins des clients et proposer des solutions pour y répondre. Vous assisterez à des discussions avec la direction de la clientèle (direction, finances et opérations) afin d’évaluer les besoins de financement du client. Effectuer une analyse financière/non financière complète et une évaluation des risques des propositions de crédit. Aider à la préparation des propositions de financement (modalités structurantes, y compris la garantie, les engagements et la tarification) afin de bien refléter et indemniser la Banque CIBC pour les risques évalués. Préparer des ébauches de recommandations sur les demandes de crédit à présenter à la haute direction. Aider à la vérification diligente complète pour toutes les transactions.
