We are a Highly Customer Focused Company seeking a Warehouse Employee to join our team. This is a position for an individual that enjoys distribution warehouse work and has good attention to detail. You must be a self-starter who is hardworking, highly motivated, an able to work under little supervision. You will be preparing outgoing orders, assist in maintaining the warehouse, and other general warehouse duties. You must be a team player, and excellent communicator who is able to follow directions efficiently.
**Responsibilities**
- Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory on store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
- Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming products
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory for delivery as well as related administrative documents
- Receive incoming shipments to ensure orders are accurate and complete and verify against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues or concerns related to shipments or inventory in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Complete Return to Vendor (RTV) duties; communicate with vendors as necessary
- Work with the teams with regards to merchandise movement and delivery inquiries and concerns.
- Order parts for differents products when needed.
- Other related tasks to ensure the warehouse runs smoothly.
**Job Requirements**:
- Minimum of three years experience working in a warehouse.
- Experience in using industrial lift trucks and forklifts, dollies and hand trucks, pallet lifters and with related permit or license.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook and other software programs.
- A clean and valid Drivers License.
- Ability to lift heavy objects from 50 to 70 lbs without assistance.
- Ability to perform under difficult work conditions such as in extreme cold, heat, inclement weather, heights, if applicable.
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
**Desired Experience**:
- Prior construction knowledge preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Team player with excellent oral communications with track record of being dependable and reliable.
- Self-motivated and results oriented.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Comfortable in a multi-task environment.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
