Field Opex Procurement Analyst

**Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is searching for an analyst for the P&L Procurement organization in North America to support the Services Business. This role will be responsible for aligning with Business Leadership to identify, prioritize and deliver critical cost-out activities. These initiatives consist of operational support for the operating contracts including chemicals, filters, membranes, and other goods/services. This role will work with the regional Service BU leader and COE leadership to build a winning strategic sourcing capability.**

**Key Characteristics**
- **Oversee the development and alignment of the various business sourcing strategies.**
- **Segment regional sourcing spend and align systems to track and monitor spend categories.**
- **Align and prioritize Sourcing Strategies with Business Leadership, Product Management, Technology, Sales, Category Management, and Fulfillment teams.**
- **Insure the “best supplier total value of ownership” to meet current and future business requirements**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- **Develop key Strategic Supplier relationships and negotiation strategies to achieve best long-term value for the business**
- **Establish and maintain relationships with internal partners to maximize Sourcing effectiveness and value.**
- **Ensure continuity of supply via minimizing sole source suppliers or by implementation of supply agreements.**
- **Ensure value add to internal customers with focus on achieving quick turnaround times and maintaining high quality standards.**
- **Work effectively across business boundaries with other Veolia businesses to best practice sharing, supplier leveraging and business support.**
- **Ensure business compliance requirements are achieved. Drive opportunities to eliminate compliance risk as well as driving initiatives to remediate concerns.**

**Hard Skills**
- **3 years of experience in a procurement (opex preferably)**
- **ERP experience required, preferably with SAP**

- **Strong interpersonal and leadership skills**

**Education & Experience**

**Required**:

- **Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Supply Chain, Engineering or any other related discipline**
- **Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus**

**Working Conditions**
- **Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
