**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will be chiefly responsible for the direction and supervision of our team of tradespeople, technicians, maintenance purchasers and stores clerk as well as monitoring and guiding various contractors and the associated projects. In addition, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the safe maintenance and repair of facilities, plant equipment and systems in order to ensure optimum production quality in the plant.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Supervise a team of Millwrights / Electricians/Technicians and Stores Clerk to carry out day-to-day maintenance activities and provide direction to undertake preventive and predictive maintenance.
- SAP work order confirmation after reviewing the quality of confirmation on a daily basis.
- Lead by example with a positive attitude. Supervise, mentor, and establish a standard of expected work quality.
- Establish a safe, transparent, and positive team environment.
- Working with maintenance planner to ensure daily maintenance work is executed as per planning. and establish a work schedule for the following weeks.
- Ensuring the maintenance team is completing Alchemy and food safety training and ensuring GMP compliance.
- Timekeeping and payroll submissions for Millwrights and Electricians.
- Monitor attendance and adherence to working hours and approve overtime for payroll.
- Maintain operations within the established annual budget and identify areas of improvement and cost savings.
- Maintain documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Analyse and eliminate repetitive maintenance problems through RCA and Pareto analysis and present the improvement opportunities and solutions to management
- Actively participate in unplanned or urgent work and communicate up-to-date information with all stakeholders regarding downtimes.
- Report on maintenance performance, and downtime work order executions in the morning DDS meeting.
- Participate in general studies pertaining to plant expansions, new product lines, and diversification.
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with other departments to troubleshoot maintenance issues within the plant and provide feedback.
- Tracking spare parts inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Position Qualifications**
- 3 years of Supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years in industrial maintenance or a degree in Engineering with maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated success supervising people in manufacturing and/or food processing operations.
- Lean Manufacturing experience and asset.
- Previous SAP experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to provide quality customer service.
- Excellent computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace.
- Available to work AM, PM, and weekends as needed.
