Job Responsibilities:
- prep and set up of workstations and equipment
- serve breakfast and lunch dishes
- ensure that quality control and presentation standards are met
- maintain a clean/sanitized and orderly work environment in the restaurant
- ensure all food/other items are properly stored
- monitor stock/shortages
Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with menus while ensuring a pleasant atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering guest questions.
- Provide exceptional guest services by anticipating needs and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for all patrons.
Job Requirements:

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage but not required; training will be provided.
- A passion for helping others and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$18.20 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
