**Position Summary/Objective**:
**Essential Functions**:

- Monitor any sudden route changes or delays during transit and establish new routes in order to avoid delays;
- Assist drivers with routing directions and communicate proper execution;
- Review all export documentation for errors and adherence to international regulations;
- Maintain high compliance to dispatch standards and operating procedures;
- Streamlines transportation processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team;
- High proficiency in MS Word/Excel;
- May be asked to work over-time;
- 1-3 years of experience in trucking dispatch preferred;
- Must be able to work independently or as a team;
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members, other departments, customers and drivers;
- Must be able to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively;
- Must be able to actively manage multiple, concurrent projects Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) & Ministry of Transportation (MTO) rules and regulations preferred;
- Positive attitude with good people skills Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word) with an ability to quickly learn new software;
- Knowledge in Penske Board & TMW Knowledge in ACI/ACE Manifests, including FAST Portal & Releases is considered an asset.

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
