Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.

**SUMMARY**

The Material Handler is responsible for moving materials using overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts. This work may exist indoors or outdoors and may be physically demanding.

**START DATE**:ASAP

**JOB DUTIES**
- Comply with PSC and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
- Operate overhead crane
- Rig spools and materials and equipment
- Move materials and equipment by hand, pallet jack, or forklift
- Sweep/clean shop
- Organize tools and materials as required
- Retrieve tools and equipment from tool crib as required
- May perform other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Previous experience working on an industrial site is considered an asset, but not required
- CSTS-09 or CSO
- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts
- Knowledge running big equipment is considered an asset
