**Sturgeon Public Schools** is currently recruiting for a **Full-Time Permanent Educational Assistant 2** for a work assignment at Redwater School.

**FTE**: 1.0 FTE; 32.5 hrs/week; Monday to Friday; Full-Time Permanent

**Initial Assignment**: Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the Educational Assistant will work with Grade 5-12 students in various school classrooms and environments. Assisting in academics, regulation, and organization.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Educational Assistant or Early Childhood certificate or diploma
- Experience working with students with varying abilities, academic levels, and behaviors, knowledge of students with Autism, fetal alcohol effects (FAE)
- Basic or Intermediate First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training or equivalent
- Preference given to applicants having experience and training with varying abilities, Autism, Behaviors
- Equivalencies that consist of a combination of education, knowledge, skills and abilities to formal education requirements may be considered

**Hourly Rate**: $18.82 - $23.57 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
