This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to provide a range of mental health services to adults, youth and families such as counselling support, contact with community agencies, service navigation, and development of intervention programs. The position is part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Shift BC’s is a program designed to counter violent extremism and hate motivated violence in BC by addressing the root process of radicalization-to-violence at the individual (secondary) level. This is accomplished by redirecting participant’s trajectories and empowering them to pursue more pro-social behaviors and increase their resiliency (‘disengagement’).

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, child and youth care, or related field.
- 2 or more years of experience working in frontline social services.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

- Experience with pathways to violence, or clients at risk of gang involvement.
- Registered social workers.
- WRAP Canada certified.
- Experience working with justice system personnel (i.e. Crown Counsel, Police, and Probation).
