Greet each customer within 20-30 seconds of entering the store with a warm, friendly, and upbeat attitude. ID the customer promptly to ensure they are of legal age.
- Provide excellent sales service to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- “Go the extra mile” to drive sales. Invest in the customer
- Answering customer inquiries with concise information (not too much/too little).
- Assess customer's needs by asking the right questions, and fitting the customer with the correct device(s), juice, or accessories.
- Remain knowledgeable on current products in the vape industry.
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases.
- Team up/communicate with co-workers to ensure proper customer service.
- Cultivate positive and lasting relationships with customers and fellow co-workers.
- Comply with inventory control procedures.
- Maintain store cleanliness. Fulfill cleaning duties each shift
- Contribute your suggestions on ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design).
- Handle returns of merchandise
- Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Stay informed of Provincial and Federal regulations and compliance requirements.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Shift:

- Afternoon shift

Work setting:

- Specialty store

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Red Deer, AB T4P 1M7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
