**Responsibilities**:

- Assist senior stylists with various salon tasks, including shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying hair
- Greet and communicate with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns
- Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and handling phone calls
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of salon stations and equipment
- Upsell salon products and services to clients
- Learn and practice proper sanitization techniques for tools and work areas

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior stylists
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor

At our salon, we prioritize providing exceptional customer service to our clients. As an apprentice, you will have the chance to interact directly with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and building lasting relationships. In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn about retail sales by upselling salon products to clients.

Sanitation is a top priority at our salon. You will receive training on proper sanitization techniques for tools and work areas to ensure the safety of both clients and staff.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $16.55-$18.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pickering, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
