**OVERALL SCOPE OF THE POSITION**

The **Estimator** position is responsible for providing accurate, professional organized and responsive material and labour costs for the fabrication of Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers and ASME pressure vessels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY

**Estimating**
- Accurately provide detailed cost estimates by analyzing engineered quotation packages. Ensure that estimates align with customer specifications in terms of technical content and compliance.
- Develop competitive bids by determining pricing for materials, services, labor, and delivery schedules.
- Guarantee the precision of estimates to ensure they meet customer specifications in technical content and compliance, avoiding any discrepancies.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers, promptly addressing and responding to their inquiries to support positive experiences.
- Deliver complete and accurate estimates within designated timeframes to secure orders and achieve profitable margins.
- Ensure that customer purchase orders are in strict alignment with the provided estimates and any pre-award communications, including Terms & Conditions.
- Actively engage in bid clarification and pre-award meetings, contributing valuable insights and clarifications as needed.

**SKILLS RQUIRED OR DEVELOPED**:

- Technical school diploma (NAIT or equivalent) with P. Eng. or CET status.
- 3-5 years experience with design/manufacturing of pressure equipment.
- Computers skills and software (spreadsheets, design, database, word processing).
- Familiar with ASME Section VIII and ANSI codes.
- Excellent communication skills and organizational ability.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
