**Communications and Web Advisor**

The CRNA is looking for an experienced communications and web advisor to develop and implement effective communication strategies and tactics for our audiences in conjunction with the communication and internal teams. You will craft content and plans that align to our strategic priorities and meet our regulatory mandate. You bring energy and to contribute to projects in an environment where initiative and creativity are nurtured.

**What you love to do**:

- Research, write and edit external and internal communications materials
- Web writing, design, and content production
- Create, develop, implement, and evaluate communications plans
- Foster strong relationships with internal partners to meet goals
- Use social media to advance business goals and enhance internal and external communication efforts
- Support the strategic planning, creative development, and production of integrated communications initiatives
- Provide expertise in the planning and execution of internal and external issues and crisis communications

**What you will bring to the organization**:

- Diploma or undergraduate degree in communications, public relations or in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the regulatory field, with public agencies or in government is an asset
- Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and competing priorities
- Strong writing and editing skills and an ability to translate technical details into meaningful plain language writing that resonates with a general audience
- High level of comfort with social software and other web-based technologies
- Basic understanding of the components of common web technology (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with diplomacy
- Experience with video production and video editing is an asset
- Experience monitoring corporate issues through media monitoring
- Willingness to listen, learn, bring new ideas and share your passion
- Demonstrated experience in successfully creating, developing, implementing, and evaluating communication plans
- Strong initiative, judgment, organizational skills, creative abilities, and attention to detail
- Excellent team building skills with ability to create a positive work environment

- A 7.25-hour workday from Monday through Friday
- 12 general holidays and an annual holiday break when our office is closed for the last week in December.

**Salary**: $79,445.00 per year
