Summer Swim Academy was established in 2015 and provides private backyard swim lessons and lifeguarding services for pool parties to various cities through the Red Cross Swim Kids program.

Hiring Full-Time or Part-Time Lifeguards/Instructors for Summer Swim Academy in **Ancaster, Ontario.**

**Job Duties**:
Swim Instructors will be required to go to client’s pools and teach private swim lessons to children aged 1-14 years the Red Cross Swim kids program. All lessons are 30 mins in length and often you will teach multiple back to back lessons at one home.

You will also lifeguard backyard pool parties at families homes anywhere from 2-4 hours.

**Employment Details**:

- Employment Period: May 24th to September 3rd 2023
- $25 per hour
- $25 per hour for guarding
- Paid Bi-Weekly
- Employee Uniform provided (singlet)
- Equipment Provided (Flutter Boards, Diving Sticks, Report Cards)

**Employment Requirements**:

- Work a minimum of 15 hours and a maximum of 40 hours per week
- 2 years of lifeguard experience is preferred
- Must have access to a vehicle and valid G2 License
- Must have current qualifications of NLS, Standard First Aid and CPR C, AED and Red Cross Swim Instructor.
- Must love children and have a out-going positive personality
- Must be friendly and have great customer service towards clients
- Must be punctual and reliable
- 7 days of unpaid vacation will be granted
- Must attend one zoom training session in May

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour
