**Job title: Campground Caretaker**

- time seasonal/ contract position (May 15th, 2023 - July 31, 2023)

Wilson’s Beach Campground is seeking a part-time “Campground Caretaker” to join our team and campground. If you are looking for a role where you’re outdoors and doing a variety of different tasks each day, this position might be right for you. The person we are looking for is a welcoming and courteous person as working with the public is part of the role. We are looking for a “handy” person that is a self starter, but can also follow directions. The ability to work independently is a must.

**Duties**:
**Lawn Maintenance**
- Cutting grass
- Weed eating
- Weed spraying
- Watering plants

**Campground Maintenance and Cleaning**
- Cleaning out fire pits and campsites after guests check out
- General painting tasks as required
- Small bathroom repairs (toilets, sinks etc.)
- Occasional bathroom and shower house cleaning
- Cleaning the outhouses

**Customer Service and Manager Support**
- Firewood delivery and payment collection
- Directions and answering customer questions as required
- Campground security and an “extra set of eyes” on the grounds
- Cover campground manager duties in absense of campground manager
- Other campground duties as required or directed
- 2 professional references
- Valid class 5 driver's license
- Experience operating small equipment (ride on lawn mower, chainsaw, weed eater, etc.)
- Experience using basic tools (drills, shovels, rakes etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to work independently and self-manage tasks
- Friendly and courteous to guests and team members
- Ability to problem solve and work independently
- Attention to detail and pride in work

The wage for this position is: $20/hour + mileage and travel time as required.
