**Retail Store Manager - TK HOME, Richmond Hill**
- Whats happening with TK HOME_
TK HOME is a General Merchandise Warehouse Retailer. Growing at an expeditious rate TK HOME is opening another location in the SouthHill Shopping Center in Richmond Hill.
We've created DIVERSE team of EXPERIENCED retail employees; who will maintain their respective departments and work collaboratively to ensure the entirety of the store is organized and tidy at all times, at every passing.
We are looking for the final member; a no nonsense Store Manager who will lead the team
- **What you'll do as RETAIL STORE MANAGER**_
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and achieve store targets
- Manage inventory levels on the floor to ensure proper stock replenishment
- Create employee work shift schedules and assign tasks based on departments
- Maintain a high level of customer service, resolving any customer complaints or issues
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team
- Provide End Of Week updates to COO on objectives and identify any issues or opportunities pertaining to receiving, processing, layout and organization of the floor & backroom, and overall employee productivity
- Identify and develop recommendations for COO on merchandise mix, inventory levels, customer demographics
- Conduct business analysis and develop and implement action plans in collaboration with the COO to strategically grow store.

- Responsible for BEST operational methods and procedures for floor and backroom maintenance, storage, and cleanliness
- Responsible for ensuring TK HOME procedures and policies are communicated, adhered to/executed
- Responsible for the oversight of the in-store after sales operations ensuring efficiency and a positive client experience.

- Accountability to improve the overall store, deliver results, control the environment, and manage store operations including merchandising and presentation of floor, backroom, cash/customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping and receiving
- Conducting **END OF DAY** store walkthroughs with employees. Ensuring every employee has maintained, cleaned, faced products faced, stocked products, ultimately making their respective department ready for the open the following day. **DAILY**:

- Direct accountability for training and Associate development, performance and acts as a role model on delivering positive Associate and customer experience in Store
- Manage employee performance to ensure each employees productivity, engagement, and consistency
- Develop and communicate action plans to the team identifying upcoming sales events and promotions, targets, and execute changes to Store floor plans as needed
- Provide motivation to sales team and lead by example at all times, exhibit a sales floor presence working with the team not above them to deliver in the moment coaching as necessary
- Maintain BIG-BOX-RETAILER visual merchandising strategy throughout the entire store

- **What you’ll need**_
To begin your career with us, you’ll have:
- Post-secondary education is preferred; minimum high school education required
- **MINIMUM** 5 years management experience in Retail including but not limited to operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety and loss prevention
- __
- Strong problem solving and customer service skills with ability to make decisions quickly and prioritize activities and resources in fast paced changing store environment
- Strong people management skills including coaching, conflict management, providing advice and guidance to Associates in the resolution of problems; evaluating performance and providing feedback to team members
- __
- Strong sense of confidentiality; requires discretion and thorough knowledge of the organization’s operations, procedures and policies to ensure compliance with company standards
- To be capable of preforming all department tasks (cash, warehouse, clothing, products)

We are a fast-paced customer-centric organization. Our store is open 10am-7pm everyday. Our employees can have 2 days off per week. We pay overtime and statutory holidays. After 3 months of employment, employees are eligible for group benefits and performance-based-raise.
