**Job description**

At Highbury Ford, we are looking for a Parts Counter Person to join our dynamic Ford Dealership Parts Department. This position will be responsible for working closely with our Parts Manager, front line service staff, and technicians to ensure superior customer service for all customers, internal and external. Our company is long-term member of the business community in London, established in 1975. Our Parts department is growing and we require a highly motivated, and achievement-oriented team player that can grow with us and move the business forward.

**Immediate Opportunity.**

**Job Duties**:

- Ability to greet customers, establish rapport, determine, and attend to customers’ needs.
- Ability to match customers’ needs with appropriate parts or services.
- Knowledge of automotive systems in general.
- Knowledge of and ability to monitor inventory to determine which parts require special ordering.
- Ability to search part numbers or to use the computer and standard catalogs.
- Ability to monitor bins and determine which parts need reordering.
- Ability to accurately track parts.
- Ability to monitor lost sales for inventory control.
- Knowledge of procedures for ordering special parts or parts with no published part numbers.
- Ability to identify and acknowledge the receipt of warranty (used) parts.
- PC skills and experience using DMS and CRM software.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to thrive in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Other duties as required

**What We Look For**:

- 3+ years of automotive parts experience.
- Ability to multi-task
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (proficient in English).
- Related experience as a service advisor would be considered an asset.
- Experience on Quorum System, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), and Mitchell would be an asset.
- Reliable and disciplined - able to follow through on assignments.
- Organized/able to prioritize in order to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated.
- Accuracy and detail-oriented individual.
- Committed to achieve the very best in customer service and teamwork.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
