Large Yard Handler

Pet care attendant, 20-35 hours a week

Join the team at Daisy's Doggy Daycare. We are in search of a long-term employee to provide exceptional, loving dog care in our fast-paced environment. We prefer previous experience working with dogs but are willing to train someone who has a passion for dogs and a desire to learn about their behavior. To be successful, you must be self-assured and confident you can hold your own when handling dogs of all sizes. During your shifts, you will monitor dog interactions and step in to prevent altercations using approved behavioral techniques with a focus on gentle handling. You will be responsible for providing a positive, fun, interactive experience while also ensuring the safety and health of the pet.

**Duties**:
The Job is physically demanding but extremely rewarding, so you will need to be in good health as you will be on your feet for long periods.
- In addition to supervising the dogs, you will be responsible for maintaining the doggy day care facility, this will include cleaning, cleaning up after the dogs, laundry, sweeping, mopping, and washing down the walls. Our dogs go outside all year round, so you will need to be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- We offer a training program, giving you the skills to book appointments, communicate with human customers, and handling monies.
- Ideally, you need to have a great customer care attitude.
- A flexible schedule is positive along with the availability to work mornings

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-34 per week

**Salary**: From $16.75 per hour
