**Position Overview**: The Vice President (VP) will oversee all field and shop operations across our manufacturing, Repair, and Service bases, ensuring a high standard of safety, quality and efficiency. This role is crucial for fostering a culture of continuous improvement through lean practices and effective employee management. The VP will also hold profit and loss responsibility for each location, driving financial performance while maintaining high customer service and delivering on jobs compliance with industry standards and customer contracts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operational Leadership**:

- Oversee and optimize all field and shop operations, ensuring alignment with Valwell’s strategic objectives.
- Implement and maintain high safety standards and compliance protocols across all service bases.
- Develop and promote lean practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- **Employee Management**:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous professional growth.
- Promote a culture of safety and accountability among employees.
- **Financial Oversight**:

- Manage profit and loss responsibilities for each service location, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Analyze financial performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team, identifying trends and opportunities.
- **Strategic Planning**:

- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute operational strategies that support overall business goals.
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion in service offerings and geographic markets.
- Monitor industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
- **Client Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Address client concerns and operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote Valwell’s services and enhance brand reputation.
- **Reporting and Compliance**:

- Ensure all operations comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
- Develop and oversee internal audits and compliance assessments.
- Report on operational and financial performance to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations.

**Reporting Structure**:

- This role will report directly to the President of Valwell Technologies.
- All Base Managers will report into the VP Operations.

As a member of the senior management team the VP Operations will be a key player in the organization and will also be required to foster a good working relationship of trust and accountability to all members of the senior management team as well as the rest of the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the energy sector or equipment maintenance.
- Formal Business, Engineering, or a mechanical based trade certificate training preferred.
- Proven track record of successful leadership and employee development.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in operations and lean management principles and practices.
