**Job Summary**:
Carefor Health & Community Services is in search of a Resident Care Worker at Richmond Care Home, which is a unique retirement residence dedicated to the care of women is living with dementia. Richmond Care Home is situated in the Village of Richmond, Ontario, where we offer a small, home-like, supportive environment for up to 16 residents.
- **Please note that Richmond Care Home is not accessible by public transit.**

This residence is a secure bungalow in the heart of Richmond Ontario and is designed to help residents feel as though they are living in a home away from home. The living room, kitchen and dining area are the central hub of the residence with comfortable, familiar décor. Our highly trained staff are encouraged to wear regular clothes instead of scrubs or uniforms, this encourages our residents to feel even more at ease. The Richmond Care Home provides a level of care, compassion, friendship and love that makes this a place like no other.

**Primary Responsibilities include**:

- Provide compassionate care, personal support, and recreation in a residential setting
- Assist in the activities of daily living including eating, dressing, grooming, and bathing
- Provide light meal preparation

**Qualifications include**:

- Personal Support Worker, Developmental Service Worker, Health Care Aide, Foreign Trained Nurse or Doctor, Paramedic graduate, Nursing student, or related education, or experience providing care to individuals requiring personal support
- Experience working with clients living with dementia an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $19.67-$24.59 per hour

Expected hours: 75 per week
