**ABOUT THE POSITION**

This positions primary responsibilities are to support the Operations Manager with day-to-day maintenance activities and inspections for PTI's building and equipment. The incumbent will create/follow a regular maintenance schedule and assist with unplanned incidents that may require minor repairs. You will be required to assess and troubleshoot mechanical and equipment problems that occur in the facility. Major work (e.g., electrical, plumbing, equipment servicing, ect.) is delegated to contractors, with the Facility Maintenance Technician coordinating and overseeing the activities. Training/coaching employees on the proper care/use of equipment is required.

**ABOUT YOU**

**Education & Experience**
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- 1-3 Years' experience in facility maintenance or related field
- Knowledge of simple wiring (low voltage)
- Forklift, aerial lift platform, overhead crane training and welding experience are an asset.
- Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and equipment problems.
- Experience with assembling and rebuilding equipment.
