Cctv Operator

**Here's what you'd do**:

- Install and program alarm and security systems, to include CCTV and access control
- Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm system
- Attending to all service calls received from customers via the company dispatcher or directly. Contacting customers following the notification of each service call as per procedures.
- Repairing defective equipment in order to restore it to proper working condition
- Assuring quality control through the completion of all scheduled preventive maintenance calls for assigned customer's equipment in accordance with the terms of service agreements
- Providing technical and user support by directing and assisting clients in the operation of the products thereby assuring their most efficient use
- Managing service call routing to maximize time utilization
- Diligently completing and submitting work orders as needed.
- All work orders completed at the client's site must contain serial numbers of equipment and must be signed by the client's designated authority
- Participating in training sessions as needed to maintain adequate levels of skills and knowledge
- Updating the dispatcher on the status of all calls, completed or work-in-progress, on a per call basis
- Performing product installations, reconfigurations, removals, or relocations as needed from time to time as well as site surveys as needed.

**Pay**: $25.00/hr.

**Hours**: 40hrs/week - 9/80.

**Length**: Direct Placement.

**Required Skills / Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in security installation and maintenance.

**Preferred Skills / Qualifications**:

- Associate Degree
- Bachelors' Degree
- Basic networking knowledge
- Familiarity with hand and power tools and meters
- The ability to meet deadlines and commitments
- Ability to interpret electrical and architectural drawings
- Must be adaptable to changing priorities
- Trouble shooting and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail.
- Highly organized, motivated, and focused
- Capable of always working independently and punctual
- Comfortable working on construction sites (many of our jobs are home renovations)
- Works well in a team
- Able to communicate fluently in English
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
