- Network Setup and Configuration: Design, set up, and configure local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network infrastructure to meet the organization's requirements.
- Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance, identifying and addressing issues, and ensuring optimal network uptime.

- Remote Access Management: Configure and manage secure remote access solutions like VPNs to enable off-site employees to access the network.
- Network Performance Optimization: Optimize network performance through load balancing, traffic shaping, and Quality of Service (QoS) measures.
- Wireless Network Management: Administer and secure wireless networks, including Wi-Fi access points, to ensure reliable and secure wireless connectivity.
- Incident Response: Develop and execute incident response plans to address network security breaches and incidents.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and colleagues on network-related issues, best practices, and security awareness.
- 24/7 Network Monitoring: Some network administrators may be required to provide on-call support for critical network issues outside of regular working hours.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent bilingual speaker in English and Mandarin.
- Certifications: Industry-standard certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and other relevant networking certifications.
- Networking Knowledge and Network Management: Proficiency in fundamental networking concepts, and hands-on experience in configuring and maintaining network devices.
- Troubleshooting Skills: The ability to diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems and network performance optimization.
- Security Awareness and Network Monitoring: Knowledge of network security best practices, and familiarity with network monitoring and management tools to ensure network performance and reliability.
- Documentation Skills: The ability to create and maintain clear and organized network documentation, including network diagrams and configurations.
- Adaptability and Communication Skills: The capability to adapt to changing network technologies and industry standards, and effective communication, both written and verbal, for collaborating with team members and end-users.
