**Maintenance Supervisor**

As Maintenance Supervisor, you will work alongside the Maintenance Manager, Overseeing, Managing, Training, and developing the **Property Maintenance and Lawn Care departments **within the company. Your job requirement is to be responsible for team quality by training property maintenance employees which includes lawn cutting, gardening, clean up. Also, seasonal responsibilities such as pruning, Spring and Fall clean ups, fertilizing, weed control and snow removal services.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain good customer relationships through delivery of high quality work, effective communication and excellent customer service.
- Be an integrated part of the development, implementation and execution of programs, systems, checklists, etc to help improve all aspects of Paramount Landscaping internal processes, standards and operations.
- Utilize best practices consistently and and have an active role in all aspects of the company’s hiring, retention, incentive and discipline programs as it applies to all employees.
- Display excellent safety management on each jobsite.
- Display excellent productivity management on each jobsite.
- To delegate appropriate work to members of your team and ensure it is completed to the highest level of quality.
- Project a positive company image by acting professionally at all times, on or off client properties.
- Understand and perform basic computer skills (Word, Excel, company program, etc.)

**Job Requirements**:

- Current and unrestricted Driver's license with a clean record
- Truck and trailer experience
- Horticulture degree, diploma or equivalent
- Extensive plant knowledge
- Three years experience in this or a related field is required
- Previous leadership experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Waterdown, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers license G or G2 (required)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2023-05-29
