**Position Summary**

Manito Ikwe Kagiikwe (Mothering Project) supports women and children affected by systemic marginalization and substance use who have complex health and social needs. Under the leadership and direction of the department Director, the Program Manager has primary day-to-day management of Manito Ikwe Kagiikwe (Mothering Project), including human resources, program management and development, financial accountability and quality and innovation. The Program Manager works with Mount Carmel Clinic (MCC) management to align programs and services with client needs, integrate services within and outside MCC and encourage teamwork and collaboration across all MCC departments.

**Qualifications**

**Education**
- Degree at the Bachelor level in a related discipline, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a working vehicle

**Management Experience**
- Minimum of two (2) years of management experience, including human resources management

**Program/Community Knowledge**
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working effectively in a related service/program and similar population;
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic financial management and program management, evaluation and development;
- Understanding of the assets, challenges, needs and interests of MCC’s clients and community

***

**Critical Skills**
- Proven knowledge and ability in critical thinking, decision-making, change management, problem-solving, crisis management and conflict resolution

- Demonstrated ability to manage programs, projects and initiatives to effectively and efficiently achieve their goals and produce expected results/outcomes
