**Product Manager for Custom Uniforms, Apparel, and Merchandise Lines**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to oversee our custom uniforms, apparel, and merchandise lines. As the Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the effective implementation of our contracts related to event merchandising and high-performance athlete uniforms. This is a full-time senior management position within our organization, with a strong seasonal component.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Merchandise:

- Design and select a wide range of merchandise appealing to curling fans of all types.
- Source, price, and merchandise new products for our lines.
- Set up and manage retail booths at major events.

2. Athlete Uniforms:

- Develop world-class uniform designs for high-performance athletes on national and international stages.
- Coordinate with external resources to ensure accurate implementation of design details, including sponsor logos and names.
- Provide athletes with sizing samples and manage inbound orders on tight timelines.

3. Product Development:

- Select garments and merchandise and complete designs for cutting-edge product lines targeting different demographics.
- Develop visual and concept product briefs for vendors and customers.
- Support cross-functional teams in product development to meet design vision and cost parameters.

4. Cost Management and Negotiation:

- Lead negotiations with vendors to achieve target product costs and margins.
- Work with partners and corporate sponsors to implement specialty items alongside standard product lines.

5. Content Management:

- Manage a comprehensive library of graphics, media, digital records, and other enterprise content.
- Provide technical graphics assistance to various stakeholders.
- Create tutorials and templates for design consistency across departments and product lines.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

- Facilitate sourcing update meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure work is on track.
- Participate in sample reviews to ensure adherence to company expectations.
- Challenge the status quo, identify areas for improvement, and provide solutions.

7. Event Retail Experience:

- Create a planogram and source fixtures and accessories for merchandising product lines.
- Travel to events to set up onsite retail booths and oversee retail sales.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the apparel or merchandise industry.
- Strong understanding of product development processes and trends.
- Excellent design and merchandising skills.
- Proficient in graphic design software and content management systems.
- Strong negotiation and cost management abilities.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required by the position.
- Ability to adapt to a seasonal shift in workload and work schedule.
