**FTE**:0.475 FTE; Part Time Permanent; 3 hrs/day; flexible hours

**Initial Assignment**:The nutrition coordinator will work to ensure students with food instability are able to have breakfast and lunch each day. They will work with the school to purchase, plan and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the program.
- Ensures proper sanitary conditions are maintained
- Ensure proper handling of all food products must be maintained to assure safety according to the school nutrition guidelines
- Plans nutritious menus
- Prepares and serves meals during scheduled periods
- Ensure students and/or volunteers follow the rules and are safe
- Other duties appropriate to the classification as assigned by the Principal

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- High School Diploma or Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate is required
- Completion of the Safe Handling Food Course is required
- Preference is given to applicants with experience in food preparation
- Equivalencies that consist of a combination of education, knowledge, skills and abilities to formal education requirements will be considered

**Hourly Rate**:$19.79 - $24.54 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
