Blowout Specialist

**Overview**
Soho Beauty Lounge is looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our team at our brand-new location. Full-time, part-time, commission-based and room rentals are available.

We are looking for a professional and talented blowout specialist to join our dynamic team. As a blowout specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients and ensuring their satisfaction. We are looking for individuals that have a passion for beauty, an extreme eye for detail, and exceptional communication skills.

**Responsibilities**
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Conduct consultations with clients to determine their desired look and recommend suitable styles and treatments
- Perform shampoo and conditioning services
- Perform blowout services
- Educate clients on proper hair and scalp care techniques and recommend products for at-home maintenance
- Remaining up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in hair artistry through continuous learning and training opportunities
- Uphold and practice the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by the Provincial law and the businesses policies and procedures
- Understand, promote, and sell service offerings, including upgrades
- Create a positive experience for all clients with a charismatic, friendly, and helpful attitude
- Committed to consistently improving skills through professional development
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Assisting in the general day-to-day operation tasks for the business
- All other duties assigned

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Previous and proven experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of hair techniques, products, and tools
- The ability to concentrate for extended periods of time
- Detail-oriented and patient
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
