Reporting to the Manager of Occupational Health & Safety, the incumbent will provide assistance to the Occupational Health and Safety Department. Responsibilities will include: providing administrative support in a team-focused environment, maintaining an efficient and confidential record keeping system, arranging meetings, providing support to the Occupational Health and Safety Department and to the Joint Health and Safety Committees.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or Office Administration field.
- 2-3 years' experience in an Administrative role or in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Experience using Parklane software preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in minute-taking.
Knowledge of process for conferencing calls, room booking, catering and article/information research.
- Ability to handle a large and diversified workload with often rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
- Evidence of effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset.
- Consistent and regular attendance required.
- Full vaccination in accordance with Niagara Health's Vaccination Policy.
