Manufacturing Technician

Description of Job:

- Loading parts into manufacturing machines
- Inspecting parts for dimensional accuracy
- Ensuring machine is operating properly
- Repairing and maintaining machines and tools
- General machine shop operations

**Required Skills**:

- Attention to detail
- Experience using standard tools:

- Electric hand held drills, wrenches, hammers, measuring tape
- Basic mechanical problem solving
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Rudimentary understanding of technical drawings
- Familiarity with computers (typing, using a mouse)
- Able to engage in physical labour

Bonus Skills:

- Familiarity with computer aided design and manufacturing software
- Advanced technical drawing interpretation
- Bilingual
- Skills in using machine shop equipment
- Welding

**Salary**: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
