**Position Description**:
The IEMHP Facilitator will provide support and guidance to IEMHP coaching and training participants who are registered and working to complete any given IEMHP training or coaching session. The Facilitator will engage with participants to ensure that the information, coaching and training from all IEMHP learning sessions has been retained. During the scheduled IEMHP sessions, the IEMHP Facilitator will provide opportunities to increase competency, confidence and capacity through knowledge, skill and practice building exercises and meaningful discussions. If training being offered has a Certificate of Completion, the IEMHP Facilitator will be responsible for ensuring that each participant meets the expectations for the certificate and reports back to the Senior Program Manager of Training and Education. Below are the responsibilities of this role:

- Prepare for learning sessions (coaching or training) by meeting with the Senior Program Manager of Training and Education, as well as with the Program Coordinator assigned to the training/coaching session
- Ensure participants have received the materials required prior to the training/coaching session
- Assess each participant¿s ability to retain the information from the live training/coaching sessions
- Determine when a participant is no longer eligible to move forward in the training and notify the Senior Training and Education Manager
- Discuss professional experiences and scenarios with participants which could arise while implementing the knowledge and tools obtained from the IEMHP learning session into their professional practices
- Engage in thought-provoking and meaningful dialogue about the content of the IEMHP training, tools and resources provided throughout both training and coaching sessions
- Support participants' implementation of the training, tools and resources into their practice
- Coordinate with the Program Coordinator to provide additional supports/materials to participants if needed
- Attend check-in meetings with Senior Training and Education Manager as required
- Attend annual Facilitator re-certification meetings

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**
- 5+ years of experience with public speaking, coaching, facilitating, teaching or equivalent
- Must have experience facilitating the Ages and Stages Questionnaires (ASQs) with families and other professionals
- Must have experience implementing early intervention strategies with families and practitioners
- Must be familiar with best practice concepts as they relate to infant and early mental health, child development, developmental screening, early intervention strategies, family engagement, and accessing systems of care for infants, young children and their families
- Must be able to travel independently for 3-4 days at a time for any given training session (as required)
- Must have a valid driver's license and insurance (if travel is required)
- Must be proficient in the use of SharePoint, Zoom, Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be comfortable using technology while facilitating training sessions
- Must have access to good quality and stable internet connection
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and experience advancing EDI objectives

**Assets**
- Experience with IEMHP's Developmental Support Plans for either Hand-in-Hand or Nurturing the Seed
- Certificate in Adult Learning and Education

**Employment Type**:

- One-year contract; casual hours
