**EFCO Corp.,** one of the world's leading manufacturers of forming systems for concrete construction, has an immediate full time opportunity for a qualified **Manufacturing Supervisor - Weld Department **at our **Georgetown, ON, Canada** facility. Salary is $79,000-$84,000

**Duties**:
This position will direct manufacturing personnel in the welding and finishing of metal forms.
- Monitors quality and quantity of products and ensures they are produced in a safe and efficient manner.
- Review incoming drawings and ensures product conformance for subassemblies and assemblies.
- Manages inventory organization of department. Takes appropriate action when needed to balance multiple customer needs.
- Leads and directs hourly employee. Provides training to personnel to ensure appropriate use of equipment. Ensures proper guidance and instruction are provided to maintain high standard of performance.
- Continually evaluates employees and work procedures to determine safety issues and hazards. Takes appropriate action to correct any issues.
- Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required including selection, providing hiring recommendations and development of employees.
- Fosters continuous improvement culture.
- Maintains positive employee relations.

**Qualifications**:

- CWB Welding Supervisor certification is an asset.
- Hands on experience with MIG welding in a fabrication environment, 3-5 years.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and workflows.
- Knowledge of lean philosophy and quality systems as they pertain to manufacturing operations.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to motivate employees and maintain strong work atmosphere. Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and PC skills required. Must work effectively under pressure, exercise good judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
