Make an impact with MNP Digital as an **IT Solutions Design and Implementation Specialist**. You will be an integral part of the team responsible for designing and implementing technology projects related to technology infrastructure, networks, systems, services and security in our clients on-premises and cloud environments. The IT Solutions Design and Implementation Specialist must be able to participate in outside of business hour solution implementation activities.

**Responsibilities**
- Design solutions for client needs and estimate hours of labour and materials needed.
- Assist with preparing statements of work, and rough estimates
- Assist with presenting proposals to clients
- Execute multiple concurrent technology projects on an on-going basis
- Implements, recommends, and supports technology solution standards
- Ensure solution design and implementation is performed in compliance with technology standards
- Provide training and documentation for IT Support teams to operate, maintain and support solutions after implementation

**Skills and Experience**
- Post-secondary degree in computer science or equivalent
- Minimum five (5) years of implementing technology solutions within a Microsoft ecosystem
- Minimum five (5) years of implementing technology solutions within corporate environments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft on-premises and Azure platforms, technologies and services
- Exceptional customer service orientation
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Eager to fully understand issues, find solutions promptly
- Building and maintaining positive relationships
- Excellent time management, problem solving, planning and priority setting skills
- Proactively looking for solution delivery improvements and efficiencies
- Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
- Highly self-motivated, self-directed and keen attention to detail

**Desirable Skills**
- Expert in migration of servers to Azure
- Expert in migrations to M365, Exchange online, Sharepoint Online, including tenant to tenant migrations
- Familiar with replacing on premise domain controller environments with AzureAD and endpoint management with InTune
- Expert knowledge of Windows, Windows Server, Office Suite
- Basic knowledge of database services including Microsoft SQL
- Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory, GPO’s, NTFS and share permissions, AD replication
- Intermediate knowledge of networking including DNS, DHCP, WINS, Routing, VPN’s, common ISP services, UTM
- Basic knowledge of backup software and strategies
- Familiarity with desktop hardware, installation and diagnosing basic issues
- Familiarity with network, server and storage hardware, racking and installation
- Expert knowledge of VMWare and virtualization
