**A Snapshot of Your Day**

Asa Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinatingsupplier relationships and strategies for your respective commodity within thedesignated external buy and internal make supply chain. Create and managesupplier contracts in order to achieve Siemens Business requirements related toSupplier’ performance and adherence to the contract.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Engage with local and global stakeholders, heads ofcommodities and heads of site within the commodities/categories to which theyare assigned
- Responsible for establishingbusiness cases to ensure the viability of any proposed program. This willrequire the creation and/or deployment of Cost Models for designatedcommodities/services/products and the development and delivery of the agreedfinancial commitments.
- Commodity manager is responsible to ensure thatpurchasing, cost reduction targets are met by executing on the strategy,working with Engineering and Subject Matter expert to identify areas ofimprovement related to manufacturing of the component and preparing negotiationstrategies to identify opportunities to drive improved cost position
- Commodity manager has the responsibility to negotiateon behalf of Siemens Energy terms and conditions in order to achieve businessrequirements. This may require global alignment with other commodity managersrepresenting other sites of Siemens Energy
- Accountable and responsible for setting up all ERP andSAP information specific to the supplier in order to ensure and maintaincompliance to system requirements and effective operational requirements.
- Accountable for ensuring that all purchase documentsare issued and maintained as appropriate including the required governmentalregulations. This includes export control, global sourcing board, gate-1 formsto initiate PPQs and contract control documents such as CRAs.

**What You Bring**
- Bachelor’s degreein engineering, supply chain, commerce or relevant field
- Minimum 5 years ofexperience in Supply Chain Management with exposure to manufacturing isrequired - 3 Years with relevant Master's Degree
- Understanding ofcontracts and their legal implications is required
- Understands manufacturing or service processes and thecost drivers
- Understands the Total Cost of Acquisition impact
- Understands and operates Supplier RelationshipManagement
- Very goodknowledge of French both written and spoken
