**Leslie's Support Solutions works in conjunction with families to provide exceptional support services for people living with developmental barriers, allowing them to flourish with support personalized by them and their family. We offer care by qualified employees who are matched based on their individuality and who are motivated to assist others to reach their goals and dreams.**

This is a live-in opportunity with a family of 2. Private room provided within the home.
- _**Must be available to work every other weekend **_
- Must have a minimum of **4 years experience**
- Must be able to collaborate and work harmoniously with caregivers, staff and other agencies, under the direction of Management.
- Must be able to monitor physical and emotional well-being.
- Provide Person-Centered Supportive approach
- Must be willing to assist the individual with completing household duties, such as cooking and cleaning.
- Must be able to work in a team setting
- Must be comfortable providing personal care as needed
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships in the community.
**-Must have a valid 'G' License and reliable vehicle**
**-Must obtain '6a/A2C Passenger' Policy before start date**
- **Must be physically fit to complete daily tasks such as walking, rotating, adjusting, transferring and pivoting clients with mínimal supervision.**
- Participate and collaborate with other health care providers in the provision of client care.
- May be required to administer medications, under the direction of caregivers
- Carry out all work assignments safely and be knowledgeable of and in compliance with LSS guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Remain in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and Human Rights Services and its regulations.
- Complete all daily paperwork such as; client communication notes, incident reports (when required), Injury Reports (when required) and any other necessary communication notes.
- Must complete yearly OSHA requirements and WHIMIS Certifications.
- Assist with personal care activities
- Abide by LSS’s Support Plan and structures in place by caregivers
- Ensuring the safety of clients and fostering a safe and supportive environment

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**

1. Must comply with: Leslie’s Support Solutions and Human Resource Policies and Procedures

2. Must Obtain satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check

3. Must have a valid First and and CPR certification

4. Must be able to work the hours provided by the caregiver

5. Must provide a valid 'G' Licence & proof of Obtained '6A/A2C' Insurance Policy w. 2 mill. Liability

6. Must be comfortable administering medications

7. Must be Caring, compassionate and physically fit

8. Must remain in good standing with the company and caregivers.
